Rare 1971-1972 Raleigh Tourist DL-1 - 28 Inch Wheel x 24 inch Frame - Minty! Lamp, Kickstand and Frame fit Pump Included.
Made in England Classic 28 inch wheel Rod Brake Roadster and 3 Speed Sturmey Archer Touring Bike. In the three speed world this is often considered the top of the range and King of the Road.
AKA the "Bobbie Bike." Legend has it the London Police Force used this bike to enforce the required height requirement....you meet the height requirement if you can ride the bike! It is a big bike with proper sit up and beg riding posture that gives a commanding view of the road. These were originally designed in the late 1800s for rutted dirt roads and today are ideal on gravel paths, canal paths and greenways and paved streets. Questions faithfully answered.
